We’re Mirangi & Prince, husband and wife, business partners, and best friends: and the founders of Rani Events & Co.

We’ve always been drawn to love stories, the kind where soulmates meet by chance, best friends fall in love, and where what’s meant for you always finds its way back. Our own story is a testament to that belief.

We went to the same elementary school in Toronto as kids and never knew each other. Life carried us in different directions, Prince eventually moving cities and settling in Raleigh in 2011, while Mirangi continued her journey in Toronto. Years later, we reconnected through a dating app, only to discover a shared history, countless mutual connections, and an invisible string that had quietly been tying our lives together all along. It felt unmistakably divine, God working behind the scenes to bring us back to one another.

That belief in timing, intention, and meaningful connection is at the heart of everything we do.

Planning and designing a wedding is an opportunity we never take for granted. We cherish the relationships we build with our couples and their families, the parents, siblings, bridal parties, cousins, and friends who all come together in one room to celebrate a once-in-a-lifetime moment. We understand just how rare and powerful that is.
